Editor's Take:
B.o.B broke through in 2010 with melodic rap that crossed easily into pop. Nothin' on You, with Bruno Mars, topped charts, and Airplanes with Hayley Williams was another huge hit. He produced and played instruments himself. His debut album entered the US chart at number one. Later releases were less successful. He became better known for his flat-Earth claims, including a public argument with astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. He continues to release music independently.
