Editor's Take:
s1mple is one of the defining figures of modern Counter-Strike. He became known as a teenager for raw talent and a short temper. Joining NAVI gave him a stable team built around his skills. His sniping with the AWP set new standards for the game. Year after year he topped the main rankings of the world's best players. The Stockholm Major finally gave him the trophy his career had lacked. He later stepped back from full-time play before returning with new teams.
