Editor's Take:
Born into Bollywood royalty as granddaughter of Raj Kapoor, Kareena carved her own path through calculated risk. After early typecasting threatened to derail her, she deliberately chose Chameli in **2004**, playing a sex worker—a gamble that repositioned her as a serious performer. Her trajectory reveals strategic intelligence: alternating between prestige projects like Omkara and crowd-pleasing blockbusters such as Bodyguard. Beyond acting, she built a business empire in fashion and cosmetics whilst championing education through UNICEF. Her willingness to speak candidly and challenge industry norms distinguishes her from peers who maintain safer public personas.
