Editor's Take:
Fuchs embodies modern football's managerial churn at its extreme. His playing career showed steady progression from Brazilian clubs to European success with Benfica, where he contributed to ending a championship drought. Yet his coaching record tells a starkly different story: more than 25 jobs since 2008, with dismissals far outnumbering resignations. By 2016, he had suffered ten sackings in a decade, three in 2011 alone. Only at Figueirense did he last a full year. This relentless cycle across Brazil's divisions, with brief forays to Portugal, reveals the precarious existence of managers outside the elite tier.
