Editor's Take:
Jackman represents a rare breed: an action hero who can sing and dance. His quarter-century as Wolverine anchored a superhero franchise, yet he always returned to live theatre, earning Tonys and Oliviers. That dual mastery—claws and choreography—reflects unusual versatility. Born to English immigrant parents in Sydney, he came late to acting, calling himself the dunce of drama school. The insecurity became fuel: he studied Tyson's rage for Wolverine, Eastwood's economy for emotional restraint. His trajectory from Melbourne musicals to Hollywood leading man proves that stage discipline translates to screen charisma.
