The Paris Peace Conference was a set of formal and informal diplomatic meetings in 1919 and 1920 after the end of World War I, in which the victorious Allies set the peace terms for the defeated Central Powers.

On 18 January 2026, a high-speed passenger train derailed in the municipality of Adamuz, in the province of Córdoba, Spain. The derailment occurred on a straight section of the Madrid–Seville high-speed rail line that was last refurbished in May 2025.
